Wow! This card looks a lot like my Gainward? GTX260-Core216!

I just got 2 DVI ports not HDMI, DVI? and VGA and I also have a Palit GTX260 Sonic 216p :(

woops, i? thought this was for the 460, don't i feel dumb now :P

just found someone to buy my gtx 260 core 216 for $100 and i can pick up the 1gb? version of this card at micro center for $195. $160 after MIR!! Looks like the planets are aligning for me to get this card. I just hope Palit is good, I've always gone EvGA but the price is just too good.

im running this card with these overclock settings: core clock, 701 mhz. memory clock, 1200mhz. shader clock, 1511 mhz. with these OC settings, the temperature will not go above 71 degrees Celcius using Furmark, which is a? lot heavier than any games (including Crysis). So the OC gave me 9% performance.

This is my video card. Bought it about april. For the price (it's rather cheep) it's an insanely powerful card. Quite quiet, and runs all my games on medium high to high with? the exception of GTA4, which runs on about medium. When I upgrade I intend to buy another and SLI them, as I think that'll be a good boost for little cost.

can? my acbel ipower 660 can handle this?

You can? mix brands if you want.

Palit uses the same cooling and pcb as Gainward does. And this card rocks, i have one myself and I think the cooling potential is great. I overclocked the card to 700GPU/1100Memory/1509Shader and it works great. The noise does not bother me, its not that loud but neither good for a silent pc.? with headphones or speakers no problem at all. great card!

Romanian Language? :)) but Romanian language is easy to adapt to English ,

@AeroFix94 Bullshit again. I've actually measured how many watts my PC takes from the "wall" using an energy meter. When CPU stressed with linpack and GPU stressed with furmark it was ~435W, so 435Wx0,80=348W, what that means is it doesnt even take all the juice from my PSU.

Any modern high quality ~450W (high quality = brands like seasonic, corsair, antec, enermax) PSU will run all? single GPU systems easily (except for GTX480/70), and that is a fact.

If nvidia says that you need min. 600W PSU to run in example GTX 260, you can easily multiply those recommendations with 0,7 if you have a quality PSU, and you are still on a safe margin.? But feel free to buy 1kW PSUs if you think they gonna enlarge your e-wiener or if you think that 1000W PSU will give you more performance than a 500W PSU.

Second, i'm concerned for u b/c 450 seems a little too low for an enthusiats card with an aftermarket cooler... And last who's talking about buying a 1k watt psu.. lol just buy a? 500watt minimum to be on the safe side..........

@crownlyx3 Well anyways I'm running my GTX 275 & PII 965OC on a 430W Seasonic PSU? and having no problems at all, the PSU actually keeps relatively quiet even under load. End of offtopic...

I'm not trying to get attention or trying to start fight like you, it just sometimes makes me frustrated when people are advising other people eventho they really? know nothing about the thing.

Oh BTW Seasonic M12II-430 actually cost more than most of the ~600W PSUs, but its well worth the money...

nope not really.. 5750 and 5770 are entry level dx11 cards. Aint faster than the DX10 cards? we have now. They just have what is said, DX11 support.

You?re right but two 5750 in crossfire will POWN any 260, 275 or GTX 285. So tell me: Is a good move to expend money on a old Dx10? that consumes more energy?

My advise is save the money and go for a single 5770 or a crossfire 5750 setup if you can.

PS: I wont even talk about the amzing oc capability of an 57xx series card.

Yeah I agree but why buy two 5750s/70s just go straight for the 58xx in? my opinion then wait till Nvdia releases the gt300 then hopefully ATI dx11 cards will somewhat go down a bit then buy another 58xx for crossfire.

@ohnzee gt300 isnt made for gaming it will be like the quadros and so? on BUT the GF100 is coming for gaming and it has 32 x ?AA :O :O check out the nvidia website for more info :)

@ohnzee i think that they will cost aproxx like the gtx 295 was..maybe a bit cheaper but it will be buck for performance for sure :) go check the nvidia website for the information about the card :) this has so many? new features its like " WOW" :) both Ati and nVidia are great so it's going to be a tight battle between them in my opinion :)

It also? depends if you alreday have 1 or not. For me i have 1x GTS250 OC that i have had for a while so i can just spend $130 & have equal performance to a GTX275 which i'm probably going to do, but yeah it wouldnt make sense to but 2x old cards now
